Thurellia hopei

This design is based on Thuridella hopei, which is actually not a nudibranch, but an opisthobranch. Still a really cool animal, the slugs in the superorder of Sacoglossa, which Thuridella is part of, survive by sucking out the cellular contents of algae. I observed this species during dives in the Mediterranean, inspiring this design. Each item is made to order and embroidered on organic cotton garments— turning an underwater encounter into something you can wear.
