Peltodoris atroculata

This design is based on Peltodoris atromaculata, often called cow or leopard slug. Each individual of this species is displaying a unique pattern, with geographic variation of the patterns, populations in the western Mediterranean typically have fewer spots, while the coverage increases to the east. I observed this species during dives in the Mediterranean, inspiring this design. Each item is made to order and embroidered on organic cotton garments— turning an underwater encounter into something you can wear.
