Aeolidia papillosa

This design is based on Aeolidia pappilosa, whose body is covered in over two-hundred cerata. I couldn’t include all of them in the embroidery design, but tried my best to adapt. I observed this species during dives off the coast of Norway, inspiring this design. Each item is made to order and embroidered on organic cotton garments— turning an underwater encounter into something you can wear.
