Acanthodoris pilosa

This design is based on Acanthodoris pilosa, who can be either white, grey or brown. When diving in Norway, I was able to photograph a white individual, while in the Mediterranean, I observed a brown individual, leading to the design being available for embroidery in either white or brown. This nudibranch is highly specialised on bryozoa from just two genera. Each item is made to order and embroidered on organic cotton garments— turning an underwater encounter into something you can wear.
